The President delivered a speech at a special event at EVE Fanfest in Harpa, where the discussion centred on how artificial intelligence could be used to support wellbeing and creativity. In the session, Hilmar Veigar Pétursson, CEO of Fenris Creations (formerly CCP), and Adrian Bolton of Google DeepMind discussed the possible pitfalls and opportunities entailed in the AI revolution. In her speech, the President emphasised that the rapid development of artificial intelligence will have profound and far-reaching effects on our society. She said it was urgent that companies and communities guide that development with responsibility and foresight.
