The President of Iceland took part in the United Nations’ Commission on the Status of Women) in New York.
On this occasion, Amina J. Mohammed, Deputy Secretary-General of the United Nations, invited the President of Iceland to take part in a special event entitled Women Rise for All: Turning Hope into Action, which took place at United Nations Headquarters. The discussion was moderated by Jessica Sibley, CEO of the American magazine TIME.
