The President welcomes participants of Iceland Writers Retreat. Participants gather for the event from all over the world and enjoy guidance from well-known foreign and Icelandic authors in the art of writing, learn about Iceland’s literary heritage, and get to know the country and its people. Eliza Reid, former First Lady, and Erica Green are the founders of the writers’ retreat, which was now held for the eleventh time.
