The President meets with representatives of the organisation Icelandic Roots.

The President of Iceland meets with Sunna Furstenau, president of the organisation Icelandic Roots, along with Becky Byerly-Adams, the organisation’s public relations officer. Icelandic Roots is a non-profit organisation dedicated to preserving Icelandic genealogy and cultural heritage, both in North America and around the world. Icelandic Roots is run by dozens of volunteers who strive to promote the history of Iceland through lectures and book publications, educational programs, social media and more, thereby helping people of Icelandic descent learn more about their origins and their Icelandic family history.
