The president delivers an address at an international conference.
The President delivers an address at the conference of the international charity organization Ladies Circle, which is being held in Reykjavík. Around 400 women from the Nordic and Baltic countries are attending the conference. A total of 22 clubs are run in Iceland under the banner of Ladies Circle. Their aim is to provide a forum for women to strengthen their independence, and broaden their horizons through bonds of friendship and volunteer work in support of worthy causes.
