The presidential couple receive pairs of socks from the Icelandic Cancer Society
The presidential couple received representatives of the Icelandic Cancer Society and designers Stefán Sveinn Aðalheiðarson and Anton Kaldal Ágústsson at Bessastaðir. The guests presented the presidential couple with colorful pairs of socks that Stefán designed in collaboration with Anton and Linda Loeskow for Mottumars (Moustache March).
Mottumars is an annual fundraising campaign by the Icelandic Cancer Society that raises awareness about issues related to cancer in men. This year, the focus is on the importance of support and solidarity, and the slogan for Mottumars 2026 is: “No one alone.” The aim is to remind people that no one should have to face cancer on their own.
