The presidential couple received representatives of the Icelandic Cancer Society and designers Stefán Sveinn Aðalheiðarson and Anton Kaldal Ágústsson at Bessastaðir. Mottumars is an annual fundraising campaign by the Icelandic Cancer Society that raises awareness about issues related to cancer in men.
