The President of Iceland welcomes guests on Museum Night.
The President of Iceland welcomed nearly 500 guests at Bessastaðir on the occasion of Museum Night. Art historian Anna Jóhannsdóttir, who works at the National Gallery of Iceland, gave guests insights into the paintings from the Gallery’s collection that now adorn the Presidential Residence. Guests also enjoyed guided tours from staff of the office of the President, and from history students at the University of Iceland.
