The President of Iceland met with Dr. Varsen Aghabekian, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Palestine, at Bessasstaðir. They discussed the situation in Gaza and the West Bank and how a lasting peace might be achieved. The Minister is visiting Iceland at the invitation of the Minister for Foreign Affairs, Þorgerður Katrín Gunnarsdóttir.
