Three-day state visit to Norway.



















The President of Iceland, Halla Tómasdóttir, and her husband, Björn Skúlason, travelled to Norway for a three day state visit. The program started with a formal reception ceremony, attended by guests of honor, at the royal palace in downtown Oslo. The first day’s program concluded with a gala dinner at the palace in honor of the president.
The hosts of the presidential couple in Norway are King Harald V and Queen Sonja, together with Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette-Marit. In addition, their eldest daughter, Princess Ingrid Alexandra, is now taking part in her first state visit. Thus, three generations of the Norwegian royal family were present at the Presidential couple’s welcoming ceremony at the Royal Palace in Oslo.
